Job Summary



Busy medical gas distributorship is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Executive Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations and provide structured administrative support to the owner. This role will require approximately 20-25 hours per week.

This position is critical to keeping the business running smoothly. The ideal candidate has bookkeeping experience, thrives on organization and is comfortable acting as a steady, detail-focused support to a fast-moving, owner-led business. This role combines accounting support with executive assistance, helping bring structure, follow-through, and consistency to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities



Bookkeeping & Financial Support



Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Assist with customer invoicing and payment tracking Record and organize daily financial transactions Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records Support month-end reconciliation and reporting Coordinate with outside accountant as needed Work within Sage 50 accounting software (training provided if needed)

Executive & Office Support



Provide direct administrative support to the owner Help organize tasks, priorities, and deadlines Monitor calendars, meetings, and commitments Assist with scheduling, reminders, and follow-up Help keep the owner on track for meetings, events, and deliverables Run occasional errands or support tasks Track open items and ensure follow-through Create simple systems to improve organization and workflow

Required Qualifications



Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting support Familiarity with AR, AP, and invoicing processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Office 365 Ability to learn and work within accounting software (experience with

Sage 50

is a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication skills Comfortable working closely with a business owner
