SUMMARY
This position involves assisting the CEO and Executive Team with the performance of their corporate and administrative responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSMaintain overall daily office operations.
Prepare appointment schedules, greet and screen appointments, answer direct phone calls.
Respond to e-mail and voicemail messages in a timely fashion.
Open postal or inter-office mail upon receipt, sort and forward to appropriate party.
Log and forward personnel, payroll, purchasing, or any other signed forms.
Gather and distribute all forms requiring signatures and necessary reading information.
Maintain an inventory of regularly used office supplies.
Assist in proper paperwork procedures.
Prepare packets and hospitality for meetings.
Attend and take minutes at Executive or assigned meetings. Transcribe meeting minutes and distributes to appropriate parties for approval.
Approve Kronos for the executive team and keep logs of PTO use for the officers and general managers.
Obtain needed signatures for contracts and send to appropriate departments for execution.
Maintain all files for Executive Team.
Make travel arrangements for Executive Team and corporate guests.
Process legal department invoices for payment.
Assist in special projects as assigned.
Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations.

Responsibilities per Federal Charter of Incorporation
Keep minutes of the proceedings of the Board of Directors in one or more books provided for that purpose
See that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of Incorporation, or as required by law.
Be Custodian of the corporate records and of the seal of the Corporation and see that the seal of the Corporation is affixed, if required by law or if otherwise appropriate, to all documents the execution of which on behalf of the Corporation under its seal is duly authorized.
Perform duties incident to the office of Secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the Board of Directors.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Attention to detail and accuracy is essential as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks using strong organizational skills. Proper use of business English is essential. Must be able to understand and utilize EDC Personnel Policy and the Attendance Policy. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A personable, friendly personality is essential. Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. An understanding of Tribal gaming is a plus. Must adhere to strict confidentiality at all times. Must be familiar with Robert's Rules.
EDUCATION / EXERPIENCE
An Associates Degree in business, communications or related field and a minimum of 4 years of office and customer service experience a must. Equivalent combinations of work and education may be considered.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED
Transcription devices and general office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, and multi-line phones.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk/hear and should have a normal range of hearing and sight. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to deal effectively with employees, customers, vendors and consultants at all levels. Must be able to prioritize duties and operate efficiently during periods of high stress levels.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office setting. Local travel is normal and necessary in this position.
COMMENTS
Native American and Tribal Indian preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol urinalysis as a condition of employment. Must be able to work flexible hours and to take on additional responsibilities when asked. Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.
