The Executive Assistant provides multi-dimensional complex administrative support for the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain for Hartford Healthcare, as well as the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations and the Vice President of Procure to Pay. The Executive Assistant will need to work in a manner which requires self-direction, independence, discretionary judgment and professionalism. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Provide proactive, efficient, and accurate executive level administrative support Prepare summaries and analyses of information including the consolidation of input from reporting units. Create and prepare correspondence, reports and presentations using most advanced Microsoft Office applications Coordinate details of projects and information gathering activities of reporting teams and business operations Organize complex meetings involving system leadership Prepare materials, and attend meetings and draft minutes as required Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts across HHC and understands reporting relationships in order to manage work. Organize and maintain files for senior leadership in a complete, accurate and timely fashion, and suggest changes to system to meet changing needs. Screen correspondence, calls and visitors and respond to complex inquiries, initiates proactive and independent action or refers to higher authority when appropriate.

Qualifications





Education



Advanced Diploma strongly preferred

Experience



Three (3) to Five (5) years' progressive experience in senior leadership level administrative support in large operational organization Advanced computer skills including high proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets) and technologies supporting business operations. Excellent verbal & written communication skills including drafting memos, presentations, reports
