Founded in 2005, Einstein Charter Schools is a top performing, tuition free, open admissions network of 4 schools in New Orleans East, serving grades PK-12. Our schools are: Sherwood Forest, Village De L'est, Einstein Middle School, and Sarah T. Reed High School. Authorized by the Orleans Parish School Board, we service the needs of more than 1,600 students, over 30% of whom receive ELL services.

Position Overview
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO and executive leadership team. This role requires exceptional discretion, organization, and professionalism, serving as a trusted partner who ensures the efficient operation of executive priorities, communications, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Executive Support
Manage complex executive calendars, scheduling meetings, travel, and events
Serve as a primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders
Prepare agendas, briefing materials, reports, and presentations
Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling or operational issues

Communication & Correspondence
Draft, review, and manage confidential correspondence, emails, and official communications
Coordinate executive-level communications with the Board of Directors, school leaders, and external partners
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions

Board & Governance Support
Coordinate Board of Directors meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and logistics
Track action items, resolutions, and follow-up tasks
Ensure compliance with governance and record-keeping requirements

Office & Operations Support
Support cross-functional projects and executive initiatives
Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
Assist with policy documentation, contracts, and executive records
Coordinate special events, leadership meetings, and retreats

Confidentiality & Compliance
Handle sensitive personnel, financial, and legal information with the highest level of discretion
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and deadlines

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience supporting senior-level executives
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in education, nonprofit, or public-sector organizations
Familiarity with board governance and public meetings
Project management experience
