Job Duties:
Managing supervisor's calendar and schedule appointments.
Answers routine inquiries in absence of manager.
Develop and edit reports and presentations.
Arranges programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers.
Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to supervisory workers, and monitors compliance.
Directs preparation of records such as agenda, and notices. Takes and transcribes dictation, and composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files.
Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings, and accompanies supervisor when requested.
Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
Create files, file indexes and binders and maintain contact database, send various mailings to contacts
Assist other administrative staff and departments as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years prior executive administrative experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Strong secretarial and organizational skills.
Critical attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capability to quickly learn and apply new technology
Team-oriented approach, as well as ability to work independently
Demonstrate ability to maintain composure during stressful situations as a result of workloads and deadlines by being resourceful, anticipating needs, prioritizing responsibilities and proactively managing schedules
Ability to be discreet and handle confidential, sensitive information
Salary:
$40,000- $45,000; commensurate with experience

The mission of SFACS is to provide education and services to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) residing in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. We target students with ASD who have communication deficits and/or behavioral challenges, and who may require training in self-help skills.
