Job Description

1. Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel. a. Assist manager in conducting ongoing training b. Assist manager in staff meeting

2. Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to quality standards. a. Distribute keys and work assignments to housekeepers b. Turns in keys and room status report to front desk

3. Addresses guest complaints regarding housekeeping service of equipment.

4. Inventories linens and guest supplies.

5. Performs cleaning duties and as an Executive Housekeeper: a. Promotes teamwork and high employee morale b. Coach and counsel employees to encourage positive attitude at all times and correct negative behavior

6. Reports any maintenance repairs to maintenance worker or records on maintenance log.

7. May assist Manger with the interviewing of new housekeepers.

8. Inspects rooms for completeness of arrangements and instructs housekeepers to correct errors.

9. Complete follow-up on vacant or occupied rooms. Check out rooms by 12:00PM and stay over rooms as late as possible

10. Training of new employees.

11. Sort, wash and fold linen.

12. Being part of team to maintain high guest service scores.

13. Have a thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and how to follow the steps.

14. Perform all other duties as requested by Supervisor or Manager

General Description: The Executive Housekeeper is responsible of ensuring those guests' rooms and public areas are clean, orderly and well maintained.

Requirements: 40-60 pounds for push/pull and lifting.
