J.T. Hoover Concrete, Inc. is looking for an experienced excavation machine operator. The ideal candidate possesses previous excavation experience for new home construction of interior and exterior concrete pours.

JOB DUTIES:

Drive vehicle (Non-DOT) to jobsite and fuel up machine. Transport tools and other construction equipment to jobsite. Operate excavation machinery to prepare building sites for exterior site concrete. Operate machinery to perform such activities as backfilling, excavation, trenching, ditching, clearing, find grading, and final clean up. Inspects equipment and prepare for small routine maintenance repairs. Clean up of machine prior to end of day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Ability to produce timely results of high quality and accuracy Must have imagination and strong problem-solving skills, with a strong technical orientation Ability to weigh decisions carefully and thoroughly based on expertise in order to avoid unpredictable risk
Starting at $22.00/Hour

REQUIREMENTS:

1 year Machine operator experience Understands grades and can process basic math. Ability to follow instructions and can work independently Must be a motivated and enthusiastic team player Valid driver's license
