Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Evs Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various environments, particularly within healthcare facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe and hygienic atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. The Evs Technician will utilize their skills in commercial cleaning and environmental services to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning agents while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing floors to maintain their appearance. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Assist in the disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental guidelines. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure effective communication regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or environmental services is preferred. Familiarity with custodial practices in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to cleaning and sanitation practices. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
