The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As an EVS Supervisor, you will oversee the cleaning at Southland Casino.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the environmental services of the department in accordance with company, state, and gaming commissions standards and regulations.
• Order and manage the EVS cleaning supply stock.
• Follow departmental policies by documenting daily the areas which have been cleaned and serviced by EVS associates.
• Train and develop EVS associates to the required company, state and gaming standards of health and safety.
• Understand and adhere to the union contract of the EVS department

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of one years supervisory experience
• Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
• Experience in EVS and/or cleaning departments preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and carrying.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level may be moderate to loud.
