EVS Housekeeper:

We are currently seeking to fill our

EVS Housekeeper

positions. We currently have

full time and part-time

slots available. Candidates are expected to work as directed, following daily project assignments.

EVS Housekeeper

will be responsible for Cleaning, Sanitizing, preparing, and maintaining spaces used for medical purposes. Previous environmental service or commercial housekeeping experience is preferred.

Position - EVS Housekeeper

Payrate per hour - $15.50 to $17.00/hour - Based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. Clean and disinfect patient rooms and other common areas. Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors Cleaning and stocking restrooms Keeping foot-traffic areas clear Collect and dispose of trash. Changing Bedsheets Properly clean furniture Handle waste disposal and recycling according to environmental guidelines. Removing Medical waste from Surgery and examination rooms Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Follow safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with staff. Notify managers of necessary repairs or shortages of materials

Requirements

Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is a plus. The position requires the frequent walking, and standing for extended periods of time, and the performance of physical labor. Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry, and exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force Must be able use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires full mobility of the back, arms, and legs in the course of performing this job. Ability to learn and adapt to changes in the facility. Organizational skills Attention to detail. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products prefered.
