Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate has reliable transportation, can pass Criminal History Records Check, is eager to work and maintain: cleanliness and sanitation ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires understanding of cleaning practices, safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Ensure proper sanitation of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with environmental services standards. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to OSHA regulations. Provide custodial support for special events or emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; Criminal History Records Check Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols related to environmental services. Familiarity with OSHA standards and regulations regarding workplace safety. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
