Each season, our team builds massive tunnels, glowing displays, and immersive holiday scenes that bring joy to thousands of families. After the season ends, we rely on a dedicated crew to help safely and efficiently take the show down and prepare it for the next stop.
Job Summary
The Event Teardown Crew is responsible for disassembling, packing, and organizing the light structures, tunnels, props, and signage that make up the show. This is a hands-on, physically active role, ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and working outdoors.
Responsibilities
Disassemble and remove light structures, arches, tunnels, props, and decor following provided instructions
Safely disconnect, coil, and pack power cables and lighting equipment
Assist with loading, staging, and organizing event materials, tools, and trailers
Ensure all equipment is handled carefully to prevent damage during packing and transport
Work closely with the Site Manager and Production Lead to complete teardown on schedule
Perform basic troubleshooting during teardown (stuck hardware, tangled wiring, stability issues)
Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Qualifications
Previous experience in event teardown, construction, or general labor preferred (not required)
Comfortable using basic hand tools (wrenches, drills, zip ties, etc.)
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, carrying, and climbing ladders
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to follow instructions
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
Availability for daytime hours, with some evening or weekend work as needed during teardown
