Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Event Sales Manager to drive event bookings and corporate partnerships at our facility. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about pickleball, loves building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship building within the Tulsa community

- Develop and execute sales strategies to book private events, corporate tournaments, team-building activities, birthday parties, and social gatherings

- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and event opportunities

- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Event Planning & Coordination

- Conduct facility tours and consultations with potential clients to understand their event needs

- Create customized event proposals and packages tailored to client requirements

- Collaborate with operations team to ensure seamless event execution

- Serve as primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through event completion

Marketing & Community Engagement

- Represent the club at local business networking events, chambers of commerce meetings, and community gatherings

- Partner with marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for event services

- Maintain active presence in the Tulsa business community to build brand awareness

- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships with local businesses and organizations

Client Relationship Management

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and event lifecycle

- Follow up with past clients to encourage repeat bookings and gather testimonials

- Maintain accurate records in CRM system and provide regular sales reporting

- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Qualifications

Required:

- 2+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or B2B sales

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Self-motivated with ability to work independently

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Availability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends

Preferred:

- Experience in sports, recreation, or fitness industry

- Knowledge of or passion for pickleball

- Existing network within the Tulsa business community

- Experience with corporate event planning or team-building activities

Compensation

Base salary range: $35,000 - $45,000 annually, plus commission (OTE $60,000 +)
