CCAV is looking for an Event Audio Visual Sales Manager/Technical Consultant. The position will be responsible for managing incoming sales, generating sales from these leads, consulting with clients on their technical needs, developing proposals, and managing client relationships to ensure successful event AV experiences while building a deep knowledge of CCAV's products and offerings; display a passion for learning and understanding new technologies.
Key duties involve creating quotes while serving as a subject matter expert on the company's AV products and services, consulting with clients on technical requirements/needs, equipment selection and setup sceduling, negotiating contracts, scheduling labor for the event flow, collaborate with in-house technical staff to ensure seamless execution, coordinating internal staff as well as freelance staff while managing any overages in labor costs and following up with clients to guarantee satisfaction and drive revenue.
Acting as the team lead for load in's ensuring the tech team is fulfulling your clients needs as negotiated. Follow up billing for any additions or changing during the set or show. Focus on building outstanding relationships, lines of communication, and trust within our accounts. Represent CCAV and hotel venues during site visits, planning meetings, pre-convention and debrief meetings. Deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales process, event execution, and post-event follow-up. Manage accurate and timely billing of events and clients. Perform other duties as assigned.
During season, the canadate will need to have an ability to work varying schedules based on business needs, which may include evenings and weekends to lead a team as the Tech consultant.
Qualifications for the position require a strong familiarity with the capabilities and general operations of common AV equipment (Audio, Video, Projection, Lighting, LED, Drape & Design), sales and customer service skills, labor scheduling/managment and experience in event planning and/or corporate event sales. Experience with spatial planning software like Vectorworks, Social Tables, PartyCAD or All Seated are a big plus.
