Job Description
Precision, a nonprofit fundraising firm based in San Antonio, has recently made plans to expand its entry-level event team. Precision has teamed up with nonprofits that are passionate about giving back. Precision team\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to make a massive impact by bringing more awareness to their charity partners\xe2\x80\x99 core mission and increasing their donations through community events. Precision has an opening for an outgoing, career motivated individual to fill their Event Assistant position IMMEDIATELY.
Event Assistant Responsibilities:
- Educate community members on their charity partners core mission
- Attend in-person and virtual meetings to discuss and plan upcoming events
- Organize and assist with all fundraising activities
- Work collaboratively and efficiently with fellow team members to increase awareness
- Maintain all donation records throughout the course of each event
- Assist with training new associates on policies and procedures
- 1-2 years of experience in philanthropy, community outreach, events or promotions
- Strong desire to work with nonprofit organizations
- Passion for giving back to the community and volunteering
- Ability to public speak and present our mission with confidence and professionalism
- Demonstrate the ability to use persuasive communication, leadership, and relationship-building
- Sales experience preferred
