Job Overview:

We are a 5 OR Ambulatory Surgical Center and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Evening Central Processing Technician to join our team. As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining equipment, monitoring production parameters, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. If you have a strong background in sterile processing, physiology knowledge, and aseptic technique, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

- Clean, decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.

- Monitor and maintain equipment used in the production process assembling instrument trays and surgical sets for accuracy

- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

-Maintain correct inventory of supplies and order replacements as needed.

- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or adjustments

- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency

- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and process parameters

- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment

Experience:

- Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field is required

- Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy is highly desirable

- Familiarity with aseptic technique and cleanroom procedures is advantageous

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols

-Coordinate needs between OR and CP.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
