The Population Health Evaluation Center (PHEC) within the College of Nursing is seeking an Evaluation Coordinator to lead and support evaluation initiatives, manage project activities, and produce reports that inform evidence-based decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to use data-driven insights to enhance community health and well-being. This position is located in and is a 12-month, full-time, benefits-eligible position. This position is annually grant funded, and contingent upon future funding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement evaluation and assessment activities, including developing surveys, participant materials, IRB documentation, and data collection tools.
  • Track project progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions to ensure successful completion.
  • Develop and maintain data management systems, including databases, codebooks, and tracking processes.
  • Train and support student and staff assistants in project procedures and data management.
  • Conduct data quality checks and descriptive analyses to inform reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to project reports, manuscripts, and summary materials for stakeholders.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and supervision of student project assistants.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree completed by date of hire;
  • At least one year of experience with duties including program evaluation, health research, or project management;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize written information;
  • Proficiency with data entry management and using analysis software to run descriptive analysis;
  • Evidence of ability to use common software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Must have ability to work independently to implement projects;
  • Must have ability to collaborate with other project staff to facilitate project completion; and
  • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience with coding for qualitative projects.
