Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in ETL testing, data migration, and validation of large-scale datasets. Advanced proficiency in SQL, including all join types, aggregate functions, and set-based difference queries. Experience working with Azure cloud environment and DevOps tools. Strong understanding of Agile development processes. Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements. Hands-on experience with various file types (JSON, Parquet, XML, EDI). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.




Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test cases for data validation processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data migration and transformation across multiple platforms. Write advanced SQL queries utilizing all join types (INNER, LEFT, RIGHT, FULL OUTER, CROSS) and aggregate functions (SUM, AVG, COUNT, DISTINCT) to validate complex business rules and large data volumes. Perform set-based queries (A-B, B-A) to identify and report differences between source and target datasets, and present clear results to stakeholders. Showcase and interpret query results, documenting discrepancies and collaborating with data engineering teams to resolve issues. Validate data operations involving diverse file formats including JSON, Parquet, XML, and EDI. Apply optimization techniques such as partitioning (horizontal, vertical), indexing, and efficient query strategies to enhance data processing and validation performance. Work within an Agile team structure, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Utilize Azure cloud services for ETL testing, data validation, and pipeline monitoring; leverage DevOps tools for continuous integration and automation. Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy, security, and interoperability standards. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, execution results, and defect tracking. Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 a Year
