What You'll Do
Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates during all phases of design and preconstruction
Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to ensure accurate project costs
Collaborate with project teams to develop budgets and proposals for negotiated and competitive bid projects
Identify cost-saving opportunities, assess risk impacts, and provide value-engineering options
Participate in subcontractor outreach, site walks, and scope reviews
Manage multiple estimates at once while maintaining organization and accuracy
What You Bring
3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
On-site field experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Strong understanding of construction divisions, means, and methods
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project
Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, SmartBid, or similar estimating or bid management software
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
