Position Overview:

Responsible for supporting the Estimating and CAD departments through accurate material estimates, variance tracking, and process improvement. Manages rebate programs in collaboration with Purchasing, ensuring timely submission and tracking of payments and processing of lot-specific documents, including credit VPOs and gross margin reporting. Utilizes software tools such as Homefront, Pipeline, and Excel to maintain efficiency and data accuracy. The Estimator is expected to demonstrate the qualities, competencies and team characteristics identified within Allen Edwin Homes' Sustainable Competitive Advantage.

Responsibilities:

Verify base homes and standard options Perform full takeoffs across all trades Identify redundancies/inconsistencies in plans Basic pipeline programming (Community options, global options, line items, etc.) Assist with vendor pricing input Participating in community setup Generate GM estimation/closing reports Coordinate with construction/purchasing on field challenges Own GM est/closing report generation Set up and maintain community data Manage model/option updates Verify assemblies and cost accuracy in collaboration with product manager Maintain base home pricing accuracy

Qualifications:

Ability to provide base model takeoffs and contribute to cost management Highly preferred to have knowledge of estimating tools and can identify issues Construction experience, medium to mid-level Ability to multi-task, and problem-solve Strong team player and willing to take on different functions within the department * Proficiency in MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel) and the ability to adapt to new systems
