Job Description

West Wind Reinforcing, a steel reinforcing placement contractor, has an immediate opening for a full time Estimator at our office in Hubbard, Oregon.

Job Qualifications:

Must have a minimum 3 years construction estimating experience;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed with an understanding of fundamentals in estimating and project controls;

Ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities;

Fundamental understanding of construction phasing and organization of building components;

Good time management skills;

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in estimating;

Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as part of a team;

Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients;

Experience using computers for a variety of tasks, including applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;

Experience using Bluebeam.

Responsibilities:

Receive requests directly from customers and communicate effectively to ensure customer expectations are met;

Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work;

Conduct detailed cost estimates for labor and materials;

Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals to clients;

Revise bids as needed when addendums and/or new plans become available;

Provide ongoing support by reviewing change orders.

Pay: $68,415.00 - $75,187.00 per year
