Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates. Work closely with the team to ensure that bids are competitive while maintaining profitability. Prefer a strong background in commercial construction estimating, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Review project blueprints, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure accurate project planning.
• Analyze and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and cost overruns.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project updates.
• Provide support during the bidding process to secure new projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and cost factors to improve estimate accuracy.

A successful Estimator should have:

They are looking to add a Building and Construction Estimator to their team.
