Kirk Bros. Co., Inc., a leader in the public water and wastewater treatment industry, is seeking an experienced and detail driven

Estimator

to join our team. You will work closely with company leadership to prepare accurate bids for public works projects, interpret drawings and specifications, and help secure competitive and profitable work.

What You'll Do:

Review and analyze plans, specifications, and bidding documents to determine labor, material, and time requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates and maintain accurate cost databases for projects ranging from $1 million to $30 million. Collaborate with the President on bid opportunities and project feasibility. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Participate in pre-bid meetings, job cost reviews, turnover meetings, and industry events. Support company growth through business development and promotional activities.

What We're Looking For:

Must have 2+ years of experience in construction estimating or related field. Strong analytical, mathematical, and blueprint-reading skills. Proficiency with estimating software, cost databases, and Microsoft Office (Timberline experience preferred). Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with record of meeting bid deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
