As an Estimator, you'll play a critical role in preconstruction efforts across a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, retail, hospitality, multifamily, medical, and restaurant projects. You'll be responsible for developing accurate scopes, identifying coverage gaps, and producing detailed material take-offs for projects ranging from $1M to $20M.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Level subcontractor bids and identify scope gaps or inconsistencies.
• Develop full scopes of work across trades including flooring, trim, drywall, and exterior materials.
• Perform detailed material take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction and proposal phases.
• Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam and BuildingConnected to manage bid processes.

• 5-10 years of experience as a construction estimator.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and materials.
• Proficient in reading plans and developing scopes across multiple trades.
• Based in or willing to work from Leesburg, VA, with knowledge of the NOVA/DC/MD market.
