Job Description

The Estimator will oversee the preparation of accurate and competitive bids for projects up to $20M. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in construction cost estimation and a focus on delivering high-quality work.

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals for commercial construction projects up to $20M.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
• Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Review and update cost databases to ensure accurate pricing and historical cost data.
• Assist in contract negotiations and pre-construction planning to support seamless project execution.
• Stay informed about market trends, materials pricing, and construction methodologies.

A successful Estimator - Commercial Construction should have:

• A strong background in commercial construction estimation, with experience handling projects up to $20M.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
