Job Description

The Construction Estimator will determine the total cost of a project by validating the project's scope of work in a Colorado Springs based role.This position is intended to provide opportunity for growth into a Preconstruction Manager position.
for the Construction Estimator

Review plans and specifications to define proposal requirements
Attend jobsite visits to determine project requirements
Prepare solicitation of subcontractors and suppliers for bid proposals
Prepare quantity takeoffs
Receive and review subcontractor and supplier proposals
Prepare and share detailed estimates with the team. Revise as necessary
Work directly with clients to define project requirements

Ability to advance into Preconstruction Manager positionCulture oriented General Contractor in the Colorado Springs area
Construction Estimator must have the following:

Experience in architecture or commercial construction
Must have experience estimating ground up projects
Experience with software including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, On-Screen Takeoff, Asta Powerproject, or Agtek is preferred
Construction management degree or similar
