Job Description

Our client is actively seeking a talented Estimator or Senior Estimator with a minimum of five years experience to join one of Atlanta's leading ENR-ranked general contractors. If you're looking to advance your estimating career with a dynamic team that values expertise and offers challenging, rewarding work, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

  • Collect and organize bid documents
  • Analyze bid documents to identify scope of work by trade
  • Reach out to potential subcontractors for quotes
  • Calculate material and labor quantities required for tasks
  • Create detailed estimate summaries for bidding purposes
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals to select best value
  • Develop initial project schedules and timelines
  • Review post-bid information to confirm accuracy of scopes of work

Experience in estimating commercial construction projects * Minimum 5 years of experience in the residential and or commercial construction field.
  • Estimating background.
  • Experienced negotiating skills to secure reliable contractor/vendor bids.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and materials.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills. Spec writing is plus.
