What You'll Do
We're looking for a
Mechanical Estimator
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both technical detail and creative problem-solving. You'll support our sales and project teams by providing accurate estimates, AutoCAD drawings, and engineering support to help deliver exceptional projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed
AutoCAD drawings
for mechanical system installations.
Prepare comprehensive
cost estimates
for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Review plans and specifications to determine accurate scope of work.
Perform
material take-offs
and adjust labor factors for project complexity.
Collaborate with project teams to lead bidding processes and ensure team alignment.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure
competitive pricing
.
Develop
value engineering and energy efficiency options
for cost-effective solutions.
Support project kickoff meetings, field coordination, and technical troubleshooting.
Review and approve change orders, invoices, and close-out documentation.
Assist the Sales Manager and field teams with project execution as needed.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent experience.
Experience with
commercial or residential MEP estimating
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
.
Strong understanding of
mechanical systems, HVAC, and construction codes
.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for site visits.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$60,000 - $100,000 per year (DOE)
