Job Description

The EST-4 Programming Service Technician is responsible for the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and servicing of low-voltage electronic systems including fire alarms, intrusion detection, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems. This role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and program EST-3 and EST-4 fire alarm systems and other low-voltage devices. Troubleshoot and repair complex system issues in the field. Perform system testing, signal verification, and ensure compliance with local/national codes. Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality. Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, hours worked, and inventory usage. Lead and mentor junior technicians on technical procedures and safety practices. Manage multiple service projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. Ensure truck stock and tools are maintained and organized. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
