Job Description
Lotus Behavioral Health Inc in Baltimore, MD is looking for one ESOL tutor to join our 19 person, strong team. We are located at 1800 N. Charles St Suite 808. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, hard-working, and dedicated to identifying and developing Refugees and Asylees academically, grades K-12th.
Must be able to speak fluently Spanish or Dari/Farsi, Arabic.
Develop and teach lessons within the curriculum defined by Lotus.
Monitor student progress and assist students in accomplishing established learning objectives.
Provide timely feedback to students and their parents on coursework and progress.
Manage student behavior and discipline in the program.
Report concerns with students, courseware, and systems, to the supervisor.
Suggest improvements to course contents.
Submit hours worked via the established system according to the schedule provided by Lotus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in English, or a related field is required; Master's Degree is strongly preferred. Two years of teaching or tutorial experience in English Language is required.
