As an Escape Room Fabricator/Prop Tech, you will be responsible for helping to design, build, and maintain props and escape rooms across various Sherlock and Mastermind sites.

Primary Job Duties:

Assist with designing, constructing, and installing manual and electronic props, puzzles, furniture, etc. for new room builds using a variety of materials and tools Build, maintain, and install manual and electronic props for repairs needed across the company sites Learn and practice essential carpentry, electrical, painting, 3D printing, and other prop-making skills Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Track work progress using the maintenance log and communicate effectively with leadership Assist with creating and maintaining the company prop maintenance guide

Qualifications:

At least 18 years old with reliable transportation and flexible schedule Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in either carpentry, low voltage electrical, or fabrication Knowledge of industry standards, including but not limited to adhesives, fasteners, building materials, safety, and terminology Ability to use hand tools and power tools Ability to work weekdays, some weekends, and some holidays based on business needs Strong communication, trouble-shooting, organizational and leadership skills Ability to travel frequently for extended builds and repair projects Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Related experience required On-the-job training offered

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at a time

Travel Requirements:

Must be willing and able to travel out-of-state as needed for up to 3 weeks at a time for new room installs, prop repairs/deliveries, new start-up location builds, various maintenance/training needs Must have a valid driver's license
