Job Description

Equipment Services Shop Technician's role is to install, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair paint striping equipment. Will work as part of a cohesive team within the shop to meet customers' needs all while managing a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Implement safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and adjust. Test completed jobs to ensure they are working properly. Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers. Maintain company vehicles, inventory, and tools in proper working condition. Plan and layout repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. Read and interpret technical information needed to perform maintenance or repairs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Self-motivated Common sense on decision making Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more

Qualifications & Education requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required, knowledge of hydraulics and an automotive mechanic degree a plus. Repair, troubleshooting, and service experience. Mechanic background a plus. Some travel required. Knowledge & use of power tools a must Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance Experience with troubleshooting a variety of systems Requires walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time
