Are you a self-starter who enjoys prospecting new leads and winning new business? Vermeer All Roads is searching for a hunter for an Outside Equipment Sales Rep in Medina, OH. You will sell our Core/Compact Equipment (mini skids, chippers, trenchers...). This position is hands on and "tows and shows" Vermeer equipment demonstrating capabilities to customers at their locations/job sites. Use your strong sales ability to build relationships and increase market share. Must be at least 21 years or older, have valid driver's license and the ability to obtain DOT medical card, plus an excellent driving record.

Compensation & Schedule

Base salary plus uncapped commission Full-time, benefits-eligible position Company truck, fuel card, laptop, and cell phone provided

Responsibilities

Prospect for new business and manage account activity within assigned territory Facilitate the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing Load, transport, and operate compact equipment for demonstrations Sell and rent new and used compact equipment lines, including brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, trenchers, and attachments Identify customer needs and provide solutions while monitoring market conditions and competitor pricing Track sales activity in CRM (Salesforce) Manage key accounts, including owners, managers, and field personnel Deliver exceptional customer service before and after the sale Work independently and remotely, traveling to customer sites daily

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license with clean driving record (insurable under company policy) Ability to obtain DOT medical card Previous outside sales experience (heavy equipment preferred) Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Self-motivated and able to work independently
