Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support infrastructure projects and site development. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities

Experience in commercial Grade and layouts. Having a CDL IS A PLUS. Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform grading, digging, lifting, and material transportation tasks. Maintain safety protocols by conducting pre-operation inspections of equipment and ensuring all machinery is in proper working condition before use. Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing land, leveling surfaces, and moving materials to support construction workflows. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and environmental regulations. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Follow all operational procedures related to construction site safety and equipment handling.

Qualifications

Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery including Caterpillar equipment and other major brands. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or tanker trucks. Hands-on experience operating a variety of machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm machinery. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Join us in building the future!
