Equipment Operator
Job Duties Description:
To operate light and heavy transportation and construction equipment including, trucks, bull-dozers, backhoes, graders, forklifts, cranes and asphalt equipment. Operating a wide variety of heavy -duty, self- propelled construction equipment for projects including, building construction, roadway construction, pier construction, grading and excavation. Perform minor maintenance on equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation. Prepare operational reports on equipment. Read and interpret blueprints.Education Level Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. A combination of 5-10 years of relevant experience. Sufficient experience may substitute for education. Education for Safety Administration (OSHA and other safety regulations) is highly desirable.
Certification Requirements:
Completion of operating certificates
OSHA 10 hr. Course
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
