Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Skid steer/ Excavator Operator to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy machinery and will be responsible for a variety of tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities

- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment. Excavators used for drilling and hammering, not digging.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as drilling, hammering, moving materials as required.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are stored properly after use.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as needed on-site.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
