An international manufacturing company is looking for a

Equipment Engineer / Project Manager

to join their global team in Lawranceville, GA for an on-site opportunity. This position is a full time, direct-hire position, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Equipment Engineer / Project Manager Job Responsibilities:

Design of production equipment (primarily mechanical, with some electrical aspects) Preparation of engineering drawings (using CAD or similar tools) Planning and execution of equipment installation Management of commissioning and startup activities Coordination and supervision of external contractors and equipment suppliers Project management including schedule, cost, and quality control Compliance with safety and environmental standards Other job duties are assigned as needed

Equipment Manager / Project Manager Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with Engineering related major Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer Experience in plant construction or equipment installation projects Proven ability to manage projects involving external vendors Basic understanding of electrical systems (control panels, wiring, sensors, etc.) Proficiency in drawing creation using CAD or equivalent software Strong teamwork and communication skills Experience in proposing and implementing equipment improvements is a plus While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.*
