Job Description

The Equipment Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a truck to deliver equipment & products to customers safely, timely and professionally. The driver is also responsible for setting up equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Load truck with equipment & Product. Schedule and deliver equipment. Equipment inventory in Saco Maine warehouse. Drive truck and deliver equipment & product to customers. Stock coolers and freezers in an orderly manner. Follow Plan-o-grams as needed. Interact professionally with customers. Resets as needed. Adhere to all professional appearance requirements (uniform, footwear, etc.). Monitor foreign products, the general appearance, and the cleanliness of cooler and freezer equipment. Effectively communicate order/customer issues to supervisor at time of delivery. Collect COD/Payment at time of delivery when required. Check vehicle for safety/maintenance issues prior to leaving the depot and throughout the day. Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Driving experience required. Merchandising experience preferred.

Skills/Qualifications

Ability to drive a 24 foot box truck. Must be able to speak English. Must have valid driver's license. Must have a clean driving record. Ability to professionally communicate with customers.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time. Ability to reach above head. Ability to climb, bend, kneel and crouch. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to push/pull up to 300 pounds. Ability to operate a manual pallet jack, Stair lifter. Ability to operate a fork lift.

Work Environment

Exposure to extreme cold.
Salary:

Compensation for this position will be determined based on experience, education, and other relevant factors.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
