Position:

Environmental Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Safeguard compliance and sustainability

by conducting environmental inspections on active and dormant construction projects, ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and protect natural resources.

Protect community health and ecosystems

by collecting and analyzing stormwater, groundwater, and soil samples that guide important environmental decisions.

Deliver clarity and confidence

through well-structured, comprehensive reports that communicate findings to clients, regulators, and project partners.

Advance project success

by collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to integrate environmental solutions into broader project goals.

Build trust and transparency

by maintaining open communication with project managers, clients, regulatory agencies, and homeowners throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience with environmental inspections (3+ years preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform fieldwork in diverse environmental conditions. Detail-oriented, organized, and solutions-driven. Experience with sampling preferred. Preferred: Experience with sampling methods and geophysical survey equipment. Preferred: Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
