Environmental Technician -

Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri in Kansas & Nebraska

Position in Reserve Kansas. Duties include/ but not limited to: Networking with environmental officials. Assistance with department functions such as filing, water/biological sampling, and solid waste operations. Conduct community outreach. Performs other duties as assigned by the Environmental Department Director or Tribal Council.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education or directly related experience is preferred. However, applicants with an interest in becoming an Environmental Technician and having the ability to learn and perform the duties of the position may apply.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be able to work in weather extremes. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have valid driver's license.

Full-time position, working 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday thru Thursday. Benefits include: vacation, sick, paid federal holidays, paid BCBS health insurance, and dental insurance. Native American preference does apply.
