As the

Environmental Supervisor Engineer

, you will lead a team of environmental and IM2 operators within the Optical Environmental Systems/Utilities and IM2 Treatment Facility/Collection Systems. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental regulations while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Oversee operational, engineering and technical support of multiple chemical production units. Develop and utilize people, equipment, materials, utilities and budget to meet plant and requirements for safety, environment, quality, labor, and expense. Maintain, document and upgrade current and newly established manufacturing process capabilities. Implement improvements in manufacturing in areas of process stabilization, repeatability, quality control, efficiencies of labor, rate improvement, operational downtime reduction and elimination of scrap and rework. Develop supporting documentation and reports and submit reports and results to management and the business. Create process flow, drawings, procedures and training documents to support manufacturing in the implementation of improvements. Support training of new operators and annual refresher training in each process area. Learn and understand the production processes and backfill for department supervisors. Work independently and on project teams to move projects based on best know-how and the best available technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field required, Chemical Engineering preferred. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a chemical facility. Prior experience using SAP ERP system, Lean methodologies and 6 sigma is a plus. Digital literacy, analytical abilities, and attention to detail are required to manage day-to-day information and data.
