Job Description

Work collaboratively within a team of technical specialists to develop innovative, practical, and cost-effective solutions for a diverse set of local and global projects and clients; Consult on projects primarily in Nevada, but support projects in North America and with international clients; Conduct work primarily related to the mining industry, specifically mine permitting, reclamation, and environmental aspects; Occasional travel and field work; Assist senior staff with field data review and field data interpretation; Assist with the management and preparation of technical reports; Assist with the preparation of project budget estimates; Use of the Microsoft Office Suite programs; Use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D or willingness to learn preferred; and Other duties, as assigned. An undergraduate degree in the physical sciences (e.g., Geology, Earth Science, or Environmental Science); Familiarity with mining support earthworks facilities (tailings, leach piles, waste rock dumps, ponds, diversion channels, etc.); Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Willingness to learn new skills; Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with appropriate supervision and mentoring; and Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills.

$70,000-$85,000 USD per annum.
