Job Description

Procon Consulting LLC is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Environmental Restoration Specialist with 10 or more years of experience in the environmental remediation Industry. The Environmental Restoration Specialist shall have a mastery of remediation and restoration concepts, principles, and practices. Experience in CERCLA, 18 AAC 75, and remediation and restoration sub-disciplines including contaminated site cleanup, attenuation measures, monitoring, and closure requests are required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Work will be Remote/off-site with ~20% travel within AK.
• BA/BS or MA/MS degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Managing and advising on environmental regulatory compliance during shoreside maintenance and repair construction projects and environmental compliance and restoration (EC&R) projects.
• Supporting a federal office for environmental remediation and restoration work related to clean-up and closure activities of federally managed contaminated sites.
• Experience with: Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) permits and regulations, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Title 18 of the Alaska Administrative Code (18 AAC) 75, Remediation and restoration sub-disciplines including contaminated site cleanup, attenuation measures, monitoring, and site closure in the State of Alaska.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Daily work services include conducting independent technical reviews.
• Manage project scope development.
• Manage field investigation and planning.
• Create and manage specifications of the project.
• Have an understanding of cost estimating.
• Strong problem and conflict resolution skills.
• Oversee and report quality assurance.
• Create and manage contaminated site condition assessments.

$140,000 - $155,000 a year
