Job Description

Columbia West, a Portland/Vancouver-based geotechnical and environmental engineering firm, is seeking a full-time environmental professional. The successful candidate will possess approximately 4 or more years of professional experience in an environmental services firm. A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in civil/environmental engineering or geology. EIT or GIT registration or professional licensure is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be an organized, efficient, punctual and motivated team member with excellent communication skills and multi-tasking ability that is excited to work on site development and environmental remediation. This position includes field and office work.

Part of your role at Columbia West will include:

o Preparing and reviewing Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments,

o Preparing engineering designs and specifications,

o On-site construction oversight and preparation of field reports,

o CAD drawing, report writing, and project team correspondence,

o Performance of quality control reviews,

o Assist in the development of bids, proposals, and RFPs,

o Driving to and from projects,

o Lift, carry, and traverse construction sites while wearing PPE which may include a respirator.

Compensation Range: $80,000 to $105,000
