Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Professional Tour Guide/Environmental Interpreter to lead guided tours of our seahorse farm in Kona, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will possess a deep appreciation for marine life and excellent communication skills, as they will be responsible for delivering our scripted tours while engaging visitors in the wonders of seahorse biology and conservation.

Key Responsibilities include

Conduct guided tours of the seahorse farm following a provided script. Engage and educate visitors about seahorse habitats, biology, and conservation efforts. Assist guests in holding a seahorse in the water. Assist with the tide pool interpretation Assist with seahorse husbandry, farm operations.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in tour guiding, environmental education, or a related field is preferred. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences. Passion for marine life and environmental stewardship. Ability to follow a scripted tour while remaining personable and engaging. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Must be a reliable team player

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
