Here is how the Environmental Intern role will impact our business:
As an Environmental Intern, you will be learning how the environmental team helps to preserve and protect the license to operate for a premier natural gas producer.
During your summer internship, you are in a unique position to provide EHS support in a field or office setting. You will have the opportunity to learn about actual field operations, execute and write program reports, organize, and conduct training, interact with contractors, as well as other opportunities to further develop one of the strongest EHS programs in the industry.
The Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support EQT's Environmental department
Cross train with other EQT departments to the extent practical
Develop a basic understanding of EQT operations
Conduct field investigations as assigned
Support compliance initiatives with technical evaluations and recommendations
Perform administrative and field duties such entering environmental inspections into EQT's database, using field instrumentation, etc.
Participate in assigned training, seminars, conferences, etc.
Participate in team building and culture booster activities
Complete a summer project as assigned by your supervisor
Present your project to EQT Management at the conclusion of the internship
Required Experience and Skills:
Possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a company vehicle
Working toward a bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or related degree
Must have at least completed sophomore year at an accredited 4-year degree program prior to the start of the internship
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or above
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based applications and ability to conduct data analysis using spreadsheets
Strong understanding and application of mathematical concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

This is an in-person position reporting to Williamsport, PA.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
