Our Fort Payne Plant is looking for a motivated and experienced

Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist

to join our leadership team and help drive our environmental, health, and safety excellence.

What You'll Do:

As the EHS Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations remain compliant, safe, and environmentally responsible. You'll partner with Corporate EHS, HR, and Plant Management to:

Implement and monitor safety and environmental programs across all departments. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 requirements. Conduct safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments. Lead training programs and promote a proactive safety culture. Manage environmental permitting, reporting, and due diligence. Act as the site's ISO 14001 Management Representative and a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee. Support injury management, return-to-work programs, and cost containment strategies.

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field preferred. OSHA 30 certification required. Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in an automotive or industrial manufacturing setting. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence at all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 standards. Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
