unit is seeking an
Environmental Compliance Supervisor
is responsible for working with the Compliance Manager to sustain and improve the facility compliance program by meeting all facility permit requirements, maintaining facility records, assisting in facility inspections and compliance reviews, reviewing and interpreting state and federal regulations, and achieving all agency reporting deadlines. 45 hours, Monday-Friday, start time 7 am.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Assist the Compliance Manager with the preparation of regulatory/monitoring reports, permit revisions and updates, and RCRA/OSHA facility training modules.
Conduct on-site inspections, as requested by the Compliance Manager.
Review and manage facility compliance records as required.
Review and revise CAD P&IDs for accuracy and updates for various facility programs.
Assist in quarterly ambient sampling for soils, rainfall, air, etc. and review laboratory results for quality assurance.
Notify Compliance Manager of incidents/accidents and assist with maintaining facility incident and corrective action records.
Conduct tours of the facility to provide an overview of facility operation to customers and regulatory agencies, as directed by the Compliance Manager.
Oversee radiation safety program at the facility while functioning as Radiation Safety Officer.
Review facility permits to gain an understanding of the permit conditions/limitations and assist in updating and submitting permits as needed.
Keep abreast of the regulations/regulatory requirements by reviewing corporate compliance Q & A summaries describing regulatory changes.
Perform quality control and compliance reviews of reports, facility processes, and data.
Answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner and direct inquiries to appropriate parties as necessary.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management and as required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business
QUALIFICATIONS
High School degree or GED- required
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering (or related science) preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent organization
Excellent problem, solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Highly motivated with strong work ethic
Ability to work well in team environment and collaborate with others/interact with field operators
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented to work independently
Proficient understanding of math, chemistry, and chemical testing
Strong problem solving skills and initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (required) and AutoCAD (preferred)
Knowledge of DOT and EPA laws/regulations (preferred)
Valid Driver's License required
Punctuality and attendance required
Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
Background check, drug screen and physical- required
