Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in computer hardware and software, along with excellent problem-solving abilities. As a Computer Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various computer systems, providing technical support to customers, and ensuring optimal performance of equipment. This role requires both in-field service and retail sales experience, making it essential for candidates to have a customer-focused attitude.

Duties

Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on Windows, Mac OS, and Android devices. Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person interactions. Analyze problems and develop effective solutions for computer-related issues. Perform equipment repairs in the field as well as within a retail environment. Read and interpret schematics to assist with troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs performed, and customer interactions. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems. Strong understanding of computer hardware components and repair techniques. Previous experience in field service or retail sales related to technology is preferred. Ability to analyze technical problems effectively and provide timely solutions. Familiarity with Android devices and their troubleshooting processes is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
