Monday to Friday Any time between 8:00 AM and 5:00/6:00 PM. Become familiar with Liberty Recording Software for digital court reporting. Become familiar with microphones/audio kits/wiring and cables for court reporting (standard A/V, inspect kits in office). Review and understand our existing information on reporter technical setups and how to use the recording software. Familiar with Dell Laptops. On-call technical support is needed mostly in the morning (at the start of a deposition), but sometimes throughout the day as well. Your help is always regarding the software and hardware (in the kits). When a reporter faces an issue when all are present, \xe2\x80\x98in the moment\xe2\x80\x99 we need help with Liberty Recording Software; laptop BIOS settings, updates, rebooting; and occasional troubleshooting of microphone feedback, checking that cables are correctly plugged into the equipment, etc. You must be able to immediately respond to a reporter in distress. You must be proficient enough to remote in, troubleshoot, and solve the problem within a short time. Provide periodic checks on the maintenance of software and hardware. Be able to answer general tech questions and give general technical advice regarding the care of equipment, updates to follow, quality of technology, and if and when technology should be replaced.
